In this introductory class, you will learn the basics of breathwork. You will gain insight into the theory and scientific findings on breathwork. You will be introduced to breathwork techniques and practice applying them step by step. You will learn how to adapt the techniques to your own needs and thus regulate the effect of breathwork yourself. We will immerse ourselves in a gentle, guided breathwork journey. You will have your first experience with it and there will be an opportunity for discussion and questions.

Breathwork is safe for healthy people. If you suffer from a blood disorder, heart disease, diabetes, circulatory problems, blood clots, asthma, cancer/malignancy, or a bone disease, you must consult a doctor before the breathwork session. The breathwork techniques can then be adapted so that the session is safe for you. The same applies during pregnancy. Please inform me of any pre-existing conditions at the beginning of the session.

Make yourself comfortable in a room where you will not be disturbed during the session.
Make sure you have a bed/sofa/yoga mat to lie down on. We will start sitting down and then lie down for the breathwork. You will also need a warm blanket and a pillow. An eye mask can be comfortable.
Please ensure that you can adjust the computer's camera so that I can see you when you are lying down.
I recommend that you allow a little time before and after the session to settle in and integrate.
