Kirtan By The Fire
In dry weather, we sing mantras outside by the fire in the Steinhölzliwald forest in Bern. No previous knowledge or spiritual beliefs are necessary. You don't even have to be able to sing. Registration is not required. Guest musician: Christine Roelli (percussion).
The Four Anchors of Chanting (Workshop)
What do we actually do when chanting mantras? This workshop gives an introduction to the basics of the practice. No previous knowledge is required. You do not need to be able to sing to practice with mantras.
Yoga and Mantra: Bodhicitta
We do not practise yoga and mantras for our own benefit, but "for the benefit of all beings". What exactly does this mean and how can we strengthen our inner attitude with "bodhicitta" and align our outer actions with it? On this Sunday afternoon just before Christmas, we will experience the flow of bodhicitta in the combination of yoga asanas and mantras.
Mantra choir for 1 day
We meet once on a Saturday and form a mantra choir for a single day. We practise consciously experiencing the interplay of silence and sound. We work with simple exercises for body, breath, voice and sense of rhythm and learn mantras for several voices in the choir. Singing "beautifully" or "correctly" is not a prerequisite for participating in the Mantra Choir for 1 Day.

Mantra Choir Bern: Open Practice Session
The practice sessionl of the Mantra Choir Bern is open to all. Come along for a non-binding practice session and get an experience of our choir. Participation in the practice session is free of charge. Registration is not necessary.

Berner Hofgesänge
The Mantra Choir Bern sings at the Berner Hofgesängen. On this evening you can come along and sing with us in the open air. Suitable for singing along and listening. Registration is not required.
Singing as a path
Singing as a path gives you an impulse to shape your mantra practice as a gateway to liveliness in everyday life. It is the path of transformation that we walk by singing it. You do not need to be able to sing for this mantra practice. No previous knowledge or spiritual beliefs are required.
